28th May 2024 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: 13 Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny periods then rain and chilly Max Speed: Distance Covered: 4 miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Tuesday 28th May - walks ** – Around Felixstowe – sunny periods early then rain :(. After yesterdays great but knackering day at Jimmy’s Farm near Ipswich with our whole family including both Grandchildren we still woke early so Mag and I had a quick walk along Felixstowe prom at 5.30 whenn the weather was at its best, even had some sunshine and light winds. I then had to take our van into the garage and then home to make pancakes for all. We had agreed to all walk around to pick Maeva up for a few hour with Arlo on his bike plus his mum and dad with Mag. We had taken a flask and snacks with the intention of having an hour on the beach despite the fact it had clouded over with the breeze picking up. We needed to go to Lidl first but the rain arrived before we made it there, chilly too:( Shopping did not take long and Maeva was cosy in her buggy wrapped up and fast asleep as we reached the prom, it was foul, grey and chilly, we walked around the pier with the intention of having our cuppa on the benches there but we we cold so continued home and had luch there! Maeva was not up too much so her dad picked her up, then I palyed dodge ball with Arlo then Mag drew a board game which was loads of fun. I then picked our van up from the garage and we all played darts in our garage! Its Arlos 7th Birhtday tomorrow so I hope the weather will be better! Photo Album here |
